Trained at Central St Martins College of Art and Design, Anna gained a BA Hons degree in fashion design, women’s wear. Her graduate collection made the catwalk at Graduate Fashion Week in 1998 where she won the Boots No. 7 design award.

Anna worked for designers including Hussein Chalayan, Eley Kishimoto and Fake London in design, production management, press, sales and distribution.

A few years later, as a freelancer, Anna also gained experience in the design and project management of staff uniforms for the hospitality industry.

Costume, Film And Television

In 2002 Anna won the BBC Vision Design competition in costume design. This led to a year’s training at the BBC, beginning with a period at the BBC’s costume store. Following this, Anna worked as assistant to various costume designers on BBC productions. Anna has since worked as a costume standby, principal dresser, assistant designer, costume supervisor, costume buyer and designer on everything from feature films, short films, drama, sitcoms, promos and adverts.
